Digital Ensemble #302: Goodbye to Tuesdays

Season 3 – Episode #2: Goodbye to Tuesdays

After several weeks of botched recording attempts, episode 302 has finally made its way to the site! Anthony and Keith talk about the sex minigames in Sony’s God of War and why they may avoid the scutiny other games receive for far less, and they also discuss the recently discovered patent of Sony Japan’s Playstation Arc name. The guys also talk about Mega Man 10, inspiring Keith comes up with far too many asinine bosses for the Blue Bomber to face.

Unfortunately, changing schedules have prevented the show from being able to continue on Tuesdays, and a date of return is currently unknown. This unintentional hiatus will hopefully end quickly, but you should enjoy this show in the meantime.

Featuring music from: Mega Man 10, The Minibosses, Project Chaos and much more.

This week’s show has three special guest hosts: Anthony’s friend Bill and Chris and Dan from Armcannon. Conversation varies wildly between topics, like how old Taylor Swift is, New Super Mario Bros. Wii, Wikipedia’s merits as an information source, the upcoming MAGFest and oddly enough, butts. Chris and Dan also speak in depth about modern music’s use of old style video game music conventions.

This week’s show will take place live, tomorrow night at 8PM. Feel free to listen at WBNY’s live stream, or come back and download the recorded version.

Digital Ensemble #207: A bicycle built for three UPDATED

Season 2 – Episode #7: A bicycle built for three

This week’s show represents a slight deviation from form as the guys are joined by Danimal Cannon of Armcannon and Metroid Metal fame. Topics range from what it’s like to record with Armcannon, how he joined and works remotely with Stemage on the Metroid Metal project, the Genesis “classic” Shadow of the Beast and Keith being a jerk. That last one is sure to be a shocking revelation.

Dan was also kind enough to bring some tunes, some of which have yet to leave our atmosphere and travel into the great reaches of space. The good news is that unlike the aliens who will intercept our broadcast in hundreds of thousands of years, you can hear them right now.

UPDATED WITH HIGHER QUALITY VERSION! DOWNLOAD NOW FOR MAXIMUM AWESOME

The guys talk about heroin, video games and are paid a visit by “Orson Scott Card.” Oh, you squirrely sci-fi writers, you. The Gizmondo comes up as well… remember that thing? But the content is still pretty hilarious so long as you don’t mind listening to us talk about stuff that happened in what is now practically the stone age. Get with it guys!

Episode #205 will be on tonight at 8PM, and you can listen live at WBNY.ORG. The broadcast will be available for download shortly after… by a day or two. For now, enjoy this blast from the past.
