Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep
Square Enix announced today that they will be publishing Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep exclusively for the PSP this summer in North America. This is the fifth title in the series that has shipped over 14 million copies, and is a prequel to the original Kingdom Hearts game. The game was originally released in Japan on January 9, 2010 and soon North American fans will have the opportunity to experience the adventure.
The new title takes place several years before the original game and follows three characters Terra, Aqua, and Ventus, each with their own unique campaigns. In addition to three new playable characters you’ll also encounter many new Disney characters that have yet to make an appearance in the Kingdom Hearts series. A new battle system is also unveiled that changes the way combat is handled, and a new 4 player multiplayer component also makes its way into the series.
