Mega Man Zero Collection revealed

MMZCThe last few years have been a great time for fans of Mega Man games, but it looks like things are about to get even better. Capcom has revealed that the GBA series Mega Man Zero will be compiled and placed on a single DS cartridge.

This compilation will be music to the ears of those who missed out on the tough-as-nails series, as the original carts are becoming harder and harder to find.

It’s currently unknown whether or not there will be extra content, or if the collection will make use of the DS’ additional functionality. It would be nice to be able to use the two extra face buttons or equip the touch-screen with a map. It’s also unknown how the games will show up on the DS’ larger screen and there is a possibility a border will fill the space.

The game is set to hit Japan in April, and will run gamers 3990 yen (about $43.50 USD). While there is no word on a US release yet, it’s probably a good bet we’ll see it cross the Pacific since the games were already translated and released here. Besides, when have you ever seen Capcom not take an opportunity to make money off the Mega Man franchise?
