Guitar Hero Fall Lineup and New DJ Hero Title

DJHeroController.jpgSome major Guitar Hero news dropped today as it was announced that there would be three new music games making their way to consoles. First up we have the finally announced DJ Hero which features another new music controller for you to add to your growing collection of music peripherals. The game is described as mixing Hip-Hop, R&B, Motown, Electronica and Dance genres into an all new game experience. If we get some Daft Punk in with that mix, I may be interested in checking things out.

In other music game news we have a pair of new titles that will take advantage of your already existing assortment of musical controllers, though you can bet they’ll probably be selling new versions as well. The first up is Guitar Hero 5 which I assume will follow pretty closely in the footsteps of Guitar Hero 4. The big addition to this game is the ability to change many game features while playing. This includes dropping in and out of songs, and changing band members, instruments, and difficulty levels on the fly.

If you’re looking for something a bit more family friendly you might want to check out Activisions third big fall release, Band Hero. So far this title sounds a lot like what Harmonix is attempting to achieve with Lego Rock Band. Not much information has been release except that the game hopes to appeal to a broad audience and is going to be rated E10.

No songs have been released for any of these titles as of yet, but we’ll be sure to keep you posted as we hear anything.
