God of War fans were excited to find that there was a possibility that the first two games in the series might end up on Blu-ray in a Collector’s Edition for the forthcoming God of War III. Those same fans will probably be sad to learn that Sony told Kotaku that fans should keep their expectations low, for now.
“It is simply a marketing survey. The goal of it is to do focus group testing,” SCEA said. “We’re just trying to find out what would resonate with the God of War community.
“If that was the number one requested thing, that would be something they would need to see if that was most technically feasible.”
Anyone interested in this actually happening can do their part by taking the survey here. The game’s don’t actually exist on Blu-ray yet, but there is a chance you can help it happen.
