A new Fallout game was announced today at a Bethesda press conference in London. The new game titled Fallout New Vegas, is set to be released sometime next year on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360. Bethesda is working with Obsidian Entertainment on the new title, and they revealed that it will not be a sequel to Fallout 3, but will rather be a separate story that exists in the same universe. It was noted however that it will contain the same role-playing style of play that you saw in Fallout 3, so you should feel right at home if you were are a fan of the series.

This is the greatest news of all year. So far. Obsidian contains many of the development team from Fallout 2. As well as some of my favorite games of all time like the Icewind Dale series. YES.
