Major Nelson dropped some news today about the upcoming Xbox Live release of the Halo 3 Mythic Maps and the new Gears of War 2 Snowblind Map Pack. Looks like the date is going to be April 9th for those Mythic Maps, and they are going to run you 800 Microsoft Points ($10). If you didn’t get yourself a copy of the limited edition of Halo Wars, now is your chance to pick them up early, or else you could always wait for ODST and get them with that package.
Your Snowblind map pack is going to drop a bit earlier, coming out on March 31st, for the regular price of 800 Microsoft Points. That new map pack is going to contain three new winter maps as well as a frozen version of Fuel Depot. The three new maps are titled Grindyard, Under Hill, and Courtyard.
Looks like a good time to be playing some multiplayer on Live.
