Apple Corps, Ltd — the Beatles people, not the iPod people — and MTV/Harmonix just announced that the Beatles are going to be coming ‘in an interactive video game format.’
It sounds like this is going to be a standalone game, which shouldn’t be surprising as AC/DC was able to negotiate that, and while they may be the people who brought you Highway to Hell, they still aren’t The Beatles.
As this was just announced there isn’t much detail available, but the game is scheduled for 2009.
They should call Activision/Metallica Mario, because they just got one upped.
